Evaluation
Our therapist use a variety of standardized tests and clinical observations to determine the child’s areas of need. Families leave our clinic with better understanding of their child strengths and challenges and a plan to address goals.
Individual Treatment
We work with children with various diagnoses, delays and impairments including: Autism, Sensory Processing Difficulties, ADD/ADHD, Developmental Delay, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disorder, DCD/Dyspraxia, Chromosomal abnormalities, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Anxiety.
Private-School/ Day-Care Observations
We go into private schools in the area to offer screenings for children suspected of delays, sensory and behavioral difficulties or physical challenges. The observation can be requested by the private school or by parents. School screenings are not billable to insurance.
Feeding Therapy
We provide individual feeding therapy to address oral motor and sensory feeding challenges. We also provide feeding groups throughout the year but subject to the number of kids, age and skill level of the kids who enroll.
Safe and Sound Protocol
A Five-day auditory intervention based on Dr. Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, to help with anxiety, social engagement, calming and regulation, auditory sensitivities and much more. For more information, please visit: https://integratedlistening.com/ssp-safe-sound-protocol/
Groups
We offer skill matched small groups for addressing Feeding challenges, Motor delays and Handwriting issues. Contact us to know more and sign up for groups.
Integrated listening Systems
Programs for improving brain function through the implementation of the iLs method: brain and body integration through multisensory input. Programs consist of therapeutically-treated music combined with fun movement activities, and, when ready, cognitive challenges to further activate brain networks. OT/vision therapy collaboration
Butterfly Pediatric Therapy and Vision Clinic of Development and Learning share an office space and frequently collaborate on cases that can be helped by OT’s building a strong foundation for the body and sensory systems, which then serves to progress visual skills.
